Applications<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"64\" data-end=\"302\">UNICLEAN HD is specially formulated to <strong data-start=\"103\" data-end=\"134\">enhance cleaning efficiency<\/strong> while overcoming the limitations of <strong data-start=\"171\" data-end=\"206\">liquid caustic-based detergents<\/strong>. Directions for Use<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"593\" data-end=\"713\">The following tank cleaning procedure is recommended for removing IGS residues from tank coatings using UNICLEAN HD:<\/p>\n<ol data-start=\"715\" data-end=\"1603\">\n<li data-section-id=\"yavtqs\" data-start=\"715\" data-end=\"806\">\n<p data-start=\"718\" data-end=\"806\">Prepare the UNICLEAN HD solution at the tank bottom or in a designated tank space.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"a7mrw8\" data-start=\"807\" data-end=\"948\">\n<p data-start=\"810\" data-end=\"948\">Dilute with water at 5%\u20138%, depending on contamination severity. A 7%\u20137.5% solution is generally optimal for effective cleaning.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1dh9b46\" data-start=\"949\" data-end=\"1035\">\n<p data-start=\"952\" data-end=\"1035\">Do not use the entire quantity of UNICLEAN HD in a single solution for all tanks.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"vc8ez8\" data-start=\"1036\" data-end=\"1195\">\n<p data-start=\"1039\" data-end=\"1195\">The solution can be used at ambient temperature; however, a minimum temperature of 70\u00b0C will improve cleaning efficiency and reduce cleaning time.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1jaxg3o\" data-start=\"1196\" data-end=\"1337\">\n<p data-start=\"1199\" data-end=\"1337\">Recirculate the cleaning solution during tank washing for at least 2 hours per cycle. Typically, 4 hours per tank is sufficient.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1shpq84\" data-start=\"1338\" data-end=\"1436\">\n<p data-start=\"1341\" data-end=\"1436\">After chemical cleaning, rinse thoroughly with fresh water at maximum available pressure.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1joejs2\" data-start=\"1437\" data-end=\"1603\">\n<p data-start=\"1440\" data-end=\"1603\">Inspect tank surfaces. If IGS stains remain, apply undiluted UNICLEAN HD directly to affected areas, allow 30 minutes reaction time, then rinse thoroughly.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p data-start=\"1605\" data-end=\"1700\"><strong>NOTE:<\/strong> UNICLEAN HD is safe for use on most surfaces, except inorganic zinc-coated tanks.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1702\" data-end=\"1819\"><strong data-start=\"1702\" data-end=\"1729\">General Recommendation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1702\" data-end=\"1819\">For effective removal of inert gas residues without contaminating subsequent cargoes:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1820\" data-end=\"2064\">\n<li data-section-id=\"1uza8xz\" data-start=\"1820\" data-end=\"1867\">\n<p data-start=\"1822\" data-end=\"1867\">Use <strong data-start=\"1826\" data-end=\"1841\">5% solution<\/strong> for light contamination<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"kn8pke\" data-start=\"1868\" data-end=\"2064\">\n<p data-start=\"1870\" data-end=\"2064\">Use <strong data-start=\"1874\" data-end=\"1894\">7%\u20137.5% solution<\/strong> for heavy contamination<br data-start=\"1918\" data-end=\"1921\" \/>Application methods and dilution ratios may vary depending on cargo type.
