It contains wetting agents, detergents and demulsifiers. The quick separating properties leave the water-phase with less than 15 PPM of oil, which meets IMO requirements.<\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"5\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"APPLICATIONS\"><\/span><b data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">APPLICATIONS<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6\">UNICLEAN BREAK <span class=\"citation-106 citation-end-106\">is used for cleaning and gas freeing of mineral oil tanks and for cleaning of tanks upgrading from black to white or grain. It can also be used as a general cleaner in the engine room and especially for cleaning bil<\/span>ges.<\/p>\n<div class=\"source-inline-chip-container ng-star-inserted\"><\/div>\n<hr data-path-to-node=\"7\" \/>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"8\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"DIRECTIONS_FOR_USE\"><\/span><b data-path-to-node=\"8\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">DIRECTIONS FOR USE<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<h4 data-path-to-node=\"9\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"TANK_WASHING_MACHINE\"><\/span><b data-path-to-node=\"9\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">TANK WASHING MACHINE<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10\">UNICLEAN BREAK is injected into the wash-waterline, at a rate of 1 lt. per ton of wash-water, through the cleaning cycle. The wash-water should be maintained between <b data-path-to-node=\"10\" data-index-in-node=\"166\">65 &#8211; 80\u00b0C<\/b>. It is important to keep the tank bottom well stripped for efficient removal of deposits.<\/p>\n<h4 data-path-to-node=\"11\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"DIRECT_SPRAY\"><\/span><b data-path-to-node=\"11\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">DIRECT SPRAY<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"12\">UNICLEAN BREAK is sprayed undiluted using a non-atomizing <span class=\"citation-105\">spray onto the surfaces to be cleaned. Allow a reaction time of <\/span><b data-path-to-node=\"12\" data-index-in-node=\"122\"><span class=\"citation-105\">30 minutes to 2 hours<\/span><\/b><span class=\"citation-105 citation-end-105\">, depending on the degree of soiling, to ensure full penetration and reaction. Wash down all surfaces with hot water of betw<\/span>een <b data-path-to-node=\"12\" data-index-in-node=\"271\">65 &#8211; 80\u00b0C<\/b> and a pressure of at least <b data-path-to-node=\"12\" data-index-in-node=\"308\">5.6 kg \/ cm\u00b2<\/b>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"source-inline-chip-container ng-star-inserted\"><\/div>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"13\">Transfer wash-water <span class=\"citation-103 citation-104 citation-end-104\">to slop tank and allow settling and separating. Where an oil-water separator is installed, discharge from the bottom of the tank through the oil-water separator. This is the best method to meet IMO requirements.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"source-inline-chip-container ng-star-inserted\"><\/div>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"14\"><span class=\"citation-101 citation-102 citation-end-102\">For use as a demulsifying agent for separating oily<\/span><span class=\"citation-101 citation-end-101\"> water, add<\/span> 1 lt. of product to 1000 lt. of oily water.
