Semi-automatic Twist-lock Single Wire

Application:

This product is used to lock containers on ships, barges, container trucks,… so that the container is securely fixed during transportation.

User manual:

Step 1: Pull the orange handle outwards and upwards to the maximum.

Step 2: Insert the yellow top cone into the lower corner molded part of the upper container and drop the handle. The top cone will automatically lock with the spring when the handle is released.

Step 3: The upper container can be lowered; the lower cone of the twist-lock will automatically rotate and align with the body using the pressure created by the upper container. The lower cone is pushed into the upper corner of the lower container.

Step 4: The upper container is connected to the lower container; the lower cone of the twist-lock will automatically lock with the action of the spring. Thus the upper and lower containers have been firmly and permanently connected.

Maintenance:

You should check and clean the lock regularly, grease the movable parts and check the functionality of the parts, as well as the operation of the springs.

Twist-lock with damaged conical body will be removed. Other damaged parts (Wire handles, bolts,..) can be replaced according to the repair instructions.

Fixing:

By removing the bolts and nuts, the twist-lock half body can be separated. The tapered assembly, springs and wire handles are removable.
