DESCRIPTION

Evaporator Defoamer Liquid is a concentrated anti-foaming agent designed to prevent and eliminate foaming problems in seawater evaporators. Foaming often occurs due to specific evaporator designs or environmental conditions such as elevated seawater temperatures. This product ensures smooth operation and prevents carry-over of salts into the distillate.

APPLICATION & USAGE

This product is used alongside Liquivap anti-scalant when foaming occurs. While Liquivap contains some anti-foaming properties, additional Evaporator Defoamer Liquid is often necessary under certain conditions to maintain peak plant performance and prevent distillate contamination.

DIRECTION FOR USE – PRODUCT DOSE

Standard Dosage: 1% of the anti-scalant (Liquivap) dosage. (Example: If daily Liquivap consumption is 10L, use 0.1L of Defoamer). Max Dose: Do not exceed 1 PPM based on the evaporator’s rated capacity. Method: Mix with Liquivap and water in the dosing tank. The defoamer amount should not exceed 1% of the total water added.
