DESCRIPTION

NCLT is a superior liquid inhibitor designed for closed re-circulating water systems. It forms a protective barrier on metal surfaces while maintaining optimal pH levels. Before treatment, sacrificial anodes (zinc/magnesium) must be removed to prevent undesirable deposits. It is essential that the system is free of oil and existing scale before applying NCLT.

APPLICATIONS

Suitable for high and normal speed diesel engines and other closed cooling circuits. NCLT should be added at a point of high circulation; avoid adding directly to expansion tanks with low flow. It will gradually remove existing sludge, which may temporarily cloud the water until clarified by small-volume draining.

DIRECTION FOR USE – DOSAGE GUIDE

Initial Dose: 6 liters of NCLT per ton of cooling water. Maintenance: Maintain nitrite levels between 1500 – 2000 PPM NO2. Use the UNIMARINE NITRITE TEST SET for monitoring. If levels drop without leaks, bacteria contamination may be present. Water Quality: Chlorides should be below 100 PPM and Hardness below 180 PPM CaCO3.
