DESCRIPTION

OBWT-3 is a highly specialized liquid combination of low molecular weight components, neutralized organic acids, and sludge conditioners. It is designed to provide comprehensive protection by forming an organic protective compound throughout the boiler. Its unique formulation stops excessive caustic build-up while maintaining the precise chemical balance required for high-efficiency steam production.

APPLICATIONS

Suitable for all auxiliary boiler plants on motor ships, including dual-pressure boiler primary systems. OBWT-3 is optimized for boilers operating up to 20 bar. For maximum protection, it is strongly recommended for continuous dosage into the feed system, especially when used in conjunction with OBWT-4.

DIRECTION FOR USE – DOSAGE & CONTROL

Initial Dose: 0.4 lt per metric ton of boiler water. Daily Dose: Minimum 0.2 lt/day, adjusted to maintain P-alkalinity at 100-150 PPM CaCO3 and pH at 10.5-11.0. Control: Regularly check chloride content (max 150-300 PPM) and conductivity (400-1,000 mho). Perform top and bottom blow-downs if chloride levels exceed limits. Use UNIMARINE TEST SET for accurate monitoring.
