DESCRIPTION

DESCALING LIQUID is a powerful acid-based solution designed for the removal of hardness scale and iron oxides. It features built-in inhibitors to protect ferrous metals during the cleaning process. Note: It must not be used on zinc, aluminum, galvanized materials, cast iron, and stainless steel.

APPLICATIONS

Suitable for cleaning boilers, condensers, evaporators, heat exchangers, and cooling systems. It is effective for both hardness scale (24-36 hours) and iron oxide scale (1-4 hours) depending on the contamination level. Always ensure the circuit is vented at the highest point to release gases.

DIRECTION FOR USE – PRODUCT DOSE

Circulation: Use a 10% to 20% solution with water. Do not exceed 40°C to avoid chlorine gas. If oil/grease is present, pre-treat with ALKACLEAN or SEACLEAN (2%-8%). Neutralization: After descaling and rinsing, circulate a 1% to 2% solution of ALKALINITY CONTROL for 2 to 6 hours to passivate the circuit.
