Fluorine-Free Synthetic Foam Concentrate (Low Viscosity)
A low-viscosity fluorine-free synthetic foam concentrate used to extinguish Class B fires (hydrocarbon fuels) and Class A fires.
It is formulated from organic solvents, hydrocarbon-based surfactants, and other performance-enhancing additives. It does not contain any halogenated organic compounds. The foam concentrate and foam solution are readily biodegradable and environmentally friendly.
This fluorine-free synthetic foam is suitable for use on both Class A and Class B fires.
Product Description – SELVA 3
SELVA 3 is a low-viscosity, fluorine-free concentrated firefighting foam designed to extinguish Class B fires (hydrocarbon fuels) and Class A fires.
SELVA 3 is formulated from organic solvents, hydrocarbon-based surfactants, and other performance-enhancing additives. It does not contain any halogenated organic compounds. Both the foam concentrate and foam solution are readily biodegradable and environmentally friendly.
SELVA 3 forms a foam blanket that separates oxygen from the fuel or fire zone, thereby effectively extinguishing fires. Its firefighting performance is comparable to fluorinated foam concentrates when used on hydrocarbon fuel fires.
SELVA 3 can be used as a replacement for AFFF (Aqueous Film Forming Foam) concentrates.
SELVA 3 is suitable for use with fresh water to extinguish Class B fires (hydrocarbon fuels). It is not suitable for fires involving polar solvents.
SELVA 3 can also be used for Class A fires due to its excellent wetting properties.
SELVA 3 can be applied using low-, medium-, and high-expansion foam discharge equipment (such as nozzles, monitors, foam chambers, etc.). However, since it does not form an aqueous film, its performance with spray nozzles is not as effective as AFFF-type foam concentrates.
