DESCRIPTION

OSMO DISINFECTANT is a specialized liquid formulation based on sodium bisulfate, primarily designed for REVERSE OSMOSIS (R.O.) plants. It serves a dual purpose: providing continuous chlorine reduction during operation to protect membranes and acting as a preservative during idle periods to block microbial fouling and bacteria growth.

MAIN USES

Beyond R.O. membrane protection, it is widely used in general water treatment to reduce polluting metal ions in industries such as electroplating, tannery, and paper mills. Its strong reducing properties make it an essential component for de-ionization and chemical stabilization in complex water systems.

DIRECTION FOR USE – RECOMMENDED APPLICATIONS

For active systems, apply via continuous dosing ahead of the high-pressure pump at a rate of 60 PPM. The product is ready to use “as is.” For idle systems, use for flushing the membranes to maintain a sterile environment. Note: Avoid mixing with acids or oxidizing products, especially at high temperatures.
