DESCRIPTION

MUD & SILT DISPERSANT is a high-performance liquid organic polyelectrolyte designed to combat heavy sediment accumulation. It effectively breaks down the adhesive forces of mud and silt, preventing them from settling in ballast tanks, cofferdams, barges, and voids. It also acts as an inhibitor, providing a stable protective film against corrosion even in the presence of dissolved oxygen.

APPLICATIONS

Primarily used in ballast tanks to prevent silt build-up and protect metal surfaces. It is effective in systems where draining and refilling is impractical, as distribution can be achieved through air-agitation or pump circulation. Safe for use with a wide range of materials including PVC, Teflon, and Vinyl.

DIRECTION FOR USE – PRODUCT DOSAGE

Initial Dosage: 100ml per ton of water (provides 2 to 4ppm zinc). Maintenance: For tanks frequently emptied and refilled, add 50ml per ton during each refill. Method: Best fed neat and continuously to the water during tank filling to ensure effective distribution through turbulence.
