DESCRIPTION

POTABLE WATER STABILISER is a carefully blended solution of polyphosphates, designed to be quickly and easily dispersible in water. It effectively provides scale and corrosion control in potable water and once-through water systems. By utilizing the best properties of each ingredient, it ensures that water quality is maintained throughout the ship’s distribution network.

APPLICATIONS

Used for treating potable water to prevent the formation of “Red Water” caused by corrosion products. It is ideal for protecting pipelines, tanks, and other equipment handling evaporated or softened water. The treatment is non-corrosive to feeding equipment and can be used in most shipboard water systems up to 80°C.

DIRECTION FOR USE – PRODUCT DOSE

Dosage: Typically between 15-40 mg/l (approx. 0.3-0.8 lt per 25 tons of water). Method: Should be proportioned continuously using a simple by-pass feeder or a metering pump to maintain the desired dosage. Storage: Temperature should not exceed 40°C to maintain product stability.
