The self-inflating life buoy (crane-deployed type) operates on an automatic activation principle when it comes into contact with water. Upon falling into the water, the sensor mechanism inside the buoy triggers a compressed air or CO₂ system, instantly inflating the buoy. This process ensures that the buoy quickly rises to the surface, ready to rescue people in distress in a fast and effective manner.
